The project
Apropa IT is an Institut del Teatre initiative offering the people who use social organisations the chance to take part in a teaching experience around the performing arts.
Over three consecutive sessions, participants get a close look at artistic practice and take part in it from a cultural rights perspective.

We open the Institut del Teatre to people and organisations with no direct link to arts training spaces.
Barriers to understanding stage language
The sessions offer context and space for conversation, making the experience feel closer.
Barriers to participation
People can watch, ask, talk and take part in adapted activities.
Barriers between arts training and social action
We connect students with social organisations, adding a community and teaching dimension.
