The project
#NeverAlone outings provides adapted buses and minibuses so that people from social centres can travel to cultural venues and enjoy activities, concerts, museums and heritage sites.
The project was born out of the #NeverAlone campaign, dedicated to older people living with dependency or isolation.
The barriers it breaks down
Mobility barriers
We provide adapted transport so that people with reduced mobility can reach cultural venues.
Financial and logistical barriers
We take on the cost and the organising work that adapted transport involves.
Barriers of isolation
The outings restore contact with cultural life and create moments of connection.
Model
Coordination between Apropa Cultura, social centres, venues and adapted transport companies so that travel is not a barrier.
