Booking through a call

Pre-selection period, draw and allocation of places.

During the season we open several calls in which cultural promoters put forward their proposals and centres can request tickets. Here is a step-by-step guide!

Apropa Cultura uses a fair and transparent ticket allocation system so that every centre has the same opportunities.

Each step of the process has its own periods, which you can consult in each section of the procedure.

At the same time, and to give a fuller picture of every activity in the season, presentation sessions are held throughout the territory, attended by cultural programmers and the entities that use the programme.

Consult the calendar for the seasonal call.

How to take part and book through a call

1. Cultural proposals are published

Theatres, concert halls, museums and festivals publish their cultural proposals on the website and social centres can start looking through them and see everything on offer.

Consult the dates of the presentation sessions

2. Pre-selection of activities

Once the seasonal call opens, social centres can pre-select the shows they want to attend, booking for groups of at least 5 people.

You can select as many proposals as you like, always in order of preference.

Knowing whether a call is open is very easy, because it is published on our website for as long as it runs and, what is more, you will receive an email telling you it has started.

3. Allocation of places by draw

Our system allocates the places to each centre following an equitable criterion.

Social centres will receive the results, and if you have been allocated tickets you can:

A. Confirm your bookings

B. Give up the tickets

Please note: If you were not lucky and no tickets were allocated to you, you can take part in the second round of allocations by saying so in the declined requests section.

4. Second round of allocations by draw

The system makes a new allocation with the places left free and social centres receive the results.

Again, centres with allocated places have two options:

A. Confirm the booking

B. Give up the tickets

After the second round, some cultural promoters increase the number of places. Any centre that has not obtained tickets by then can join the waiting list again and go for those places.

Bear in mind that direct booking stays open all year round.

5. Payment

Within 10 days at most of the booking being accepted, centres have to make the payments and upload the receipt to the dashboard.

6. Booking confirmation

Once the promoter has checked the payment, the bookings are definitively confirmed.

You can see your confirmed bookings in the My bookings section of your personal dashboard.

Now all that is left is to enjoy the outing!
